1. Access by means of a Right of Way to be reserved from the most convenient places the Beach to the 4 (four) War Department Enclosures as shewn on this plan in accordance with 3 Paragraph War Office Mam: dated 13 March 1862. Hong Kong 830

2. Under the Instructions of the His Grace The Duke of Newcastle the SW point of this Peninsula to rerert at once to the War Department at the expense of the Colonial Government - if required for a Battery only & a clause to be inserted in the Crown Teases to that effect. —

Should the Fifty (50) Feet outside the agreed to War Department Boundary as shewn on plan on the North, East & South sides of the Barrack enclosure not be adapted by the Colonial Garemment for Road purposes only, the same

as a Reserve only, like the other soft's rooft

to revert to the War Department
